Lotus Bakeries NV is principally engaged in the manufacturing and supply of bakery products. The Company specializes in three product categories: caramelized biscuits, cakes and pastries and waffles and galettes. The Company's caramelized biscuit product range includes Lotus original caramelized biscuits, Lotus wheat biscuits and Lotus caramelized biscuits with chocolate. The cake and pastry product range includes Glace Originals and Glace Petits Fondants (by De Bruin's Banketfabriek), Breton butter products (by Biscuiterie Le Glazik), coconut products (by Biscuiterie Vander) and Breton butter-madeleines (by Croquembouche). The waffle and galette product range includes waffles provided by Biscuiterie Ribert in Belgium, and filled waffles and fine galettes provided by Biscuiterie Vander in France. The Company has 11 production units throughout Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, as well as subsidiaries in Germany, Switzerland and the United States.
